Thanks AMD! I love AFMF in Elden Ring. Even though the game is locked at 60 fps max I can flip it on and steady perfect 120 fps with good visuals, super smooth and great latency to boot! AFMF now reminds me of how we no longer cared too much for gsync once freesync was 99.5% as good. It is getting there here too.

Would be really interesting to do a comparison between AFMF2 vs Lossless Scaling FG 2.2, in "performance" (how many fps you get, what's the compute cost before multiplying fps), visual quality, and QOL (like artificially cap your frames when you pass your monitor's refresh rate, "give up" in fast scenes, and so on).

this is HUGE for many players, the Vulkan and OGL and the borderless FS were big issues for me . Hope my 6600XT supports it XD

Now it works on literally anything even Vulkan, it's MUCH better, the latency too, I just did some tests and it's literally superior to Lossless Scaling by a lot- Thank you AMD, LMAO.

Just installed the preview driver and testing it with Diablo 4 which is kind of the game you would use for and I must say that locking the frame to 60 and then using AFMF 2 feels really good. I can see some errors with the highest settings at 1440p but it is hard to pinpoint what it is unless you look for it and UI elements have no ghosting so far. Some freezes at the beginning of the playthrough but it is very stable now, it could be just a matter of the context and not the drivers. Lag feels non existing at least from my test.
