My husband is on hospice and most likely days away from death. This cancer is awful. We have a 12 year old son too.

Why the background music? I’m very deaf, therefore I find this video with talking and music very difficult.

I was diagnosed at the age of 34, no symptoms at all. Just slightly high liver values. Scan revealed there is something that does not belong to the liver. Biopsy then showed it was a malignant metasis on the liver - intrahepatic CCC.
That’s been 22 months from now and next week I will receive 5th line therapy with FOLFIRI after Cisplatin/Gemcitabin, Durvalumab, Pemigatinib and FOLFOX.
Sadly the cancer spread to my lungs, a rip and the spleen.
This cancer is very aggressive…
My prayers to all of you who fight along with me!-

My father inlaw died from this last night 3/29/21. Very aggressive and decimated his body. He was a skeleton. Why can't we cure these cancer yet?!! Why are we spending billions on space travel? This is a cellular phenomenon we can't cure.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 bile duct cancer Feb 20th 2018. Thank you for posting this -it is helpful for my friends and relatives to understand what I am going though. It was indeed me going jaundice that led me to the ER where I was diagnosed. I started Chemo march 2nd and currently have 6 chemo sessions- I am fortunate to be in the 15% who is operable. My tumor is in the base of the liver and it has spread to my liver. My course is chemo followed by a whipple procedure

My dad is gonna die from it probably within a week from now. He had a mild stroke in early July 2022 and basically totally recovered. Then in September had a worse one that affected some parts of his memory and slowed his walking down. About a week after the 2nd stroke blood work showed super high liver enzymes and a CT scan showed a liver tumor (not an alcoholic or anything like that)
They took him off blood thinners so they could do the biopsy and then he had a much larger stroke that put him in the ICU with his right side paralyzed. I was worried it would happen when he went off the blood thinners. They did end up doing the biopsy though at least
Now it's 4 days after the 3rd stroke and he's going into Hospice. He so thin and had been feeling much more tired in the few weeks between the 2nd and 3rd stroke. So we pretty much knew he didn't have much time left
All I can say is at least it went fast and he never experienced much pain. And he would not have wanted to be paralyzed and have his brain scrambled the way it is right now and live years and years like that. So the fact that this cancer is killing him so quickly is a blessing in some ways.
He's 72 and will never have to deal with dementia and I know that was always his biggest worry about aging so I'm glad about that
Edit: he did have random hiccups for the past year or so and had lost weight. But he had gone on the keto diet and had lost weight from that also. So the weight loss all kind of blended together. until he got really thin in the past 4 months or so
Long story short: the cancer caused 3 strokes in less than 4 months. And the cancer is going to kill him 3 weeks after the blood work and CT scan showed the tumor

My dad is suffering from this type of cancer too. He is just 58 years old.. Earlier there was a symptoms like jaundice.. Ct scan report showed tumor in the hepatic duct.. Doctor told us extraction of bilirubin(jaundice) is necessary before the further treatment.. Now we are doing the same as they told us.. The bilirubin level has decreased from 27 to 6 .. It must decrease to normal range before any treatment.. Hope the God may help us..

My dad passed away a week ago from bile duct cancer. He became jaundice after a scan revealed the tumor. 7 weeks after diagnosis he passed away. It was really hard and painful for him. My mom, brother and myself were by his side the whole time. Cancer sucks and I wish he didn’t have to go out like this. He had just turned 64 before he passed.

Hi. I was recently diagnosed with a dilated bile duct. I’ve had a history of things that could have possibly contributed to it. I’ve for the most part of my life taken pretty good care of myself. I have been going to get CT and MRI but there’s no stones. I have a healthy liver, gallbladder, etc. I am going to go in for a cholesystectomy (where they send a camera through the bile ducts under general anesthesia.) Is there a chance I just have a dilated bile duct? What’s dilated? My doctor said it’s around 10mm or something like that. I’m terrified it might be cancer. If it is, hopefully it’s in the early stages. I’m 44. I think I’m going to go for a second opinion. Since this is something that can be easily missed or misread. Thanks!!

I have just recently been diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma or Bile duct cancer. This can be resected depending on the location and type.
In my case this is not an option as I have cirrhosis as well.
I am in a constant state of exhaustion and just recently had to stop working.
Been evaluated by two large respected transplant centers and praying one of them will accept me.
There is a protocol that is and has shown success with a 5 yr. Survival rate of 90%.
That is what I’m striving for.
