I was diagnosed with stage 4 bile duct cancer Feb 20th 2018. Thank you for posting this -it is helpful for my friends and relatives to understand what I am going though. It was indeed me going jaundice that led me to the ER where I was diagnosed. I started Chemo march second - I am fortunate to be in the 15% who - is operable. My tumor is in the base of the liver and it has spread to my liver. My course is chemo followed by a whipple procedure - Your story gives me hope

My mother was recently diagnosed with bile duct cancer with stage T1N0 and surgery had also done because of lymphovescular invasion is present doctor advised ajuvant oral chemotherapy for 8 cycle and hoping fot the best.

Chemo does not work on most bile duct cancer…
It is most often found when it is inoperabel
It really needs more research
