Watching this man made me realized how privileged I am to have a functioning body. I admire this man for his courage. 🙏🏻

RIP. He's achieved more in his restricted life than I have in my 40 years of "normal" living. What a man.

My heart goes out to you . I wonder why the rest of us even complain about anything!

This is why I try to complain very little. People like him went through worst things imaginable and are more appreciative. He survived, he is still suffering, but he survived polio. That's amazing. Such a positive attitude for the situation he is in.

He's a survivor and a hero. Emotionally strong.
I lived through the polio epidemics. Luckily we never got it but the towns closed the pools so no one could swim or congregate. Many young people got onto chest respirators and left the hospital. Others, as he said, died. Human beings are amazing.

IT’S CURIOUS
When people say “Polio Paul “
is a sad story when his entire daily life was all about trading in a “sad story” for an amazing, inspiring legend. Mr. Alexander taught us that whatever challenging circumstances we are in thinking we have no control
Paul Alexander reminds us we always have control over one thing (if we are courageous & brave enough) and that is our attitude as
AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE WILL ALWAYS CREATE YOUR ALTITUDE.
May angels lead you in Brother ✨

A trooper if I've ever seen one. Being not just bedridden, but literally "bolted in place", and yet still keeping a smile on his face. That is amazing.

The fact that the machine still works is amazing. The glory days of manufacturing. Now stuff last at best 5-10 years.
