Sen Graham appeals to US Supreme Court

The Senator has been asked to appear before a special grand jury in Georgia.

Graham wouldn't have to spend so much time fighting telling what he knows if he had nothing to hide.

Isn't it amazing what easy access these people have to the Supreme Court!? It might take years for a case from one of us common people to get a hearing from those "Noble Judges" but all these guys have to do is snap their fingers! And it isn't even Donald Trump this time, it's his boot licker. Royalty always did have first turn at Justice...and everything else and I guess those days have returned.

Members of Congress should be bound by their public office to cooperate fully in any legal procedure that requires their participation. I am extremely weary of members of this government who think they can withhold their cooperation on any matter they choose or just stonewall by sudden amnesia or taking the 5th. If they are in the employ of the people or have been at the time in question, then they should be 100% willing to be present and forthcoming. It should be a requirement of the job, particularly if there is wrongdoing suspected. I have to say that Graham makes himself appear culpable here as well.

Would the Supreme Court even consider interfering with a STATE legal body, performing a STATE legal function, which is NOT in violation of FEDERAL Law? Or, is Graham trying to set a
legal precedent whereby a possible criminal conspiracy is protected by "the speech or debate" clause. Has he not read 18 U.S.C. § 371, which states it is a federal offense if
two or more persons conspire either to commit any offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose?
You can't try to commit a conspiracy, and then use the Right to Free Speech, as a defense.

Justice Thomas should leave the SCOTUS considering he's being allowed to rule on things his wife is against, major conflict of interest when she's a proven influence on his decisions.
