Gyroscopic effect is ability (tendency) of the rotating body to maintain a steady direction of its axis of rotation. The gyroscopes are rotating with respect to the axis of symmetry at high speed.

Gyroscopic Precession

Gyroscopes can be very perplexing objects because they move in peculiar ways and even seem to defy gravity.

If you have ever played with toy gyroscopes, you know that they can perform all sorts of interesting tricks. They can balance on string or a finger; they can resist motion about the spin axis in very odd ways; but the most interesting effect is called precession. This is the gravity-defying part of a gyroscope. The video shows you the effects of precession using a bicycle wheel as a gyro.

How can it do that?

In the general case, precession works like this: If you have a spinning gyroscope and you try to rotate its spin axis, the gyroscope will instead try to rotate about an axis at right angles to your force axis.

Why should a gyroscope display this behavior? It seems totally nonsensical that the bicycle wheel's axle can hang in the air like that. If you think about what is actually happening to the different sections of the gyroscope as it rotates, however, you can see that this behavior is completely normal!

Torque-induced precession (gyroscopic precession) is the phenomenon in which the axis of a spinning object (e.g., a gyroscope) describes a cone in space when an external torque is applied to it. The phenomenon is commonly seen in a spinning toy top, but all rotating objects can undergo precession

Precession is a change in the orientation of the rotational axis of a rotating body. In an appropriate reference frame it can be defined as a change in the first Euler angle, whereas the third Euler angle defines the rotation itself. In other words, if the axis of rotation of a body is itself rotating about a second axis, that body is said to be precessing about the second axis. A motion in which the second Euler angle changes is called nutation. In physics, there are two types of precession: torque-free and torque-induced.

The axis is resistant to change in its direction due to the centripetal motion of the speeding wheel. Friction degradation slowly degrades the angular momentum and gravity slows the wheels leverage until it comes to halt.

Done it with a black light. Truly awesome.

Makes sense.. angular momentum just doing its thing

Good demonstration of angular momentum.

I never would've thought this were physically possible. Well, seeing is believing!

Objects do act differently with its environment when in motion whether it be static or dynamic.
Pretty cool!
I'm hoping one day, our vehicles will be propelled by GRT ~ Gravity Repulsion Technology.
As we all know, like air & water, gravity is everywhere & free!

It's like magic. Have you ever seen the Gyrocar? Is amazing.

Just great, How Long does it keep the momentum, would the initial energy produce Longo burn out when is transferred so precisely

Einstein's theory of the planetary tilt would change if a giant grabbed the bike hub and cranked it .Totally explains the earth quakes and tectonic plate shift altering the degree of tilt...as the force of millions of tons of mass shifting alters the angle of the sun and the seasons.
I have trouble getting a straight answer from nasa about this sort of thing.

Why do I have no sound for this one… Anyone else? Was this intended

Does the wheel have got corona? Or why is he wearing a mask?

Descobriu o segredo dos discos voadores. Estou brincando mas tem um pouco de verdade. Kkkkk lembrando tem que usar um eixo circular de cobre.

Really needed the mask for that. Wouldn’t want any DROPLETS flying around.

Keeps adjusting mask and touching everything else too. Mask is pointless in his case
