I wasn't sold on this whole "college" thing originally but now that I know it has crying AND doing laundry I'm 100% on board with it

This video is actually really deep. If you think about it, Laddi's character is the manifestation of all the chaos and disfunction that comes with late capitalism. We're entering a phase in our culture where college is necessary to function as a person. You have no future without a college education and yet the debt that comes with that degree is coupled with crippling debt, countless work hours, and potentially unmeasurable anxiety.

The Laddi is the culmination of all of the oppressive faculties that haunt students and look to eventually topple our economy (our bond yield inverted last week and we're facing a recession soon) and lead us to a violent revolution. The Laddi is chaos. She is fear. She is oppression. She is the greatest force our generation has to face down in these coming decades.
