I fasted for 40 days - this is what I learnt!!!
I recently finished a 40 day fast the BIBLICAL way meaning NO FOOD, NO PUREES, NO SOLIDS, ONLY LIQUIDS!! This is the lessons I learnt from it and WHY I DID IT!?

Drink water only during fasting days. If you drink other liquid will make you feel very hungry. The first 2 to 3 days are hardest. Just after 3 days you don't feel hungry with water only.

Thank you holy spirit now I understand, my 40 days of was a very difficult i was my first long fasting I manage to 34 days imagine I did not finish what I was started I was very disappointed I felt that I have failed God in many ways I was hard on my self but I gained so much during the fasting although I did not finish I hope next time I will finish it and I have that hunger to do it again Matthew 6 v 33, thank you in Jesus name Amen

They are all pretty much the same points I came away with after my 40 day fast last year. I had done multiple 3 and 7 day fasts, and a 21 day, but I found the 40 day to be the hardest to stick to near the end... As soon as I started counting down it got hard! But, although I slipped a couple of times (gluttony was breaking off me at the time... It's gone, PTL), I honoured the commitment finished (despite the devil telling me there was no point after slipping). I also felt the Lord tell me early on that my prayers were answered, which was beautiful. Some manifested at the time, some are still waiting to be seen in the natural, but I know that they are answered!

I did a 30 day fast. I put Sea Salt Water in one water bottle and in my 2nd Water Bottle I put Electrolytes with no sugar & no carbs. I am 59 years old and lost 27 pounds. It was a rewarding experience denying of oneself it's a humbling experience as well.

That's great and very inspiring. You seem more vibrant and genuine, as though God's glory is shimmering off you, and makes you look and seem very genuine and full of God and very different from fake feeling I often get watching Youtube videos. I tried a 40 day fast once and though imperfect, I stuck it out and demons were manifesting and coming out in the following months(edit: in other people, not me). I hope to do a more perfect 40 fast like you soon. Thanks for your inspiration. Just curious, have you tried casting out demons after fasting, that it was much easier?

My stomach is killing me, my back is killing me. I had only a few drinks of water in the last 26 hours. Im going thru addiction. I need new friends, i need to go where no one suffers from this addiction. I wanna quit cold turkey, start over, regenerate, and so on. I cant do it, i wanna do, can i do it? Got damn Temptation! Lord I need help, its Temptation. I wanna do this, but its Temptation.

I fasted 14 days once and worked out durring it and I was on top of the world! and I ran almost in a sprint about 8 miles until my knees hurt so bad I had to stop after but I barley touched the ground when the fast was over.
