sec 30 (2) clearly says that imprisonment in default of fine does not exceed one fourth which the magistrate is competent to inflict...that is in that 392 example the punishment of default of fine should be one fourth of 3 yr that is 9 months... not 3.5 years

Sir section 325 mein previous example robbery ka bhi le sakte hai kii vo award nhi kr skta hai 3.5 years but CJM ko forward krde????
