Are you sure that JM FC can give 3 years imprisonment for default of fine? Is it not maximum 9 months (1/4th of his limits of Power)?

30(1) & clause b ka difference kiya hain?? Apna to bola k sec 29 tak jo power hain uss tak additional imprisonment hoga.. To fir clause b main 1/4 kiu aya??

According to first schedule of CrPC section 504 can be trial before any magistrate, second class magistrates capability is 1 year imprisonment (max)
