I looked it up. It doesn’t seem like EDTA is carcinogenic, but IS “cytotoxic and weakly genotoxic” according to Rebecca S Lanigan et al. on the National Center for Biotechnology Information’s website.

Although research is limited, there is currently no scientific data that associates consumption of calcium disodium EDTA with an increased risk of cancer (8).

I hear it's best to make your own mayo, especially since it doesnt take long if you have an immersion blender. I actually use a lot of mayo in tuna salads 😅

Edta disodium is a great chelator and helps us remove heavy metals. I actually drink Edta disodium to be remove heavy metals and help arthritis.

EDTA sodium isn't like free EDTA so please educate yourself on the rypes of EDTA .
