😲Don't Believe These 4 Lies After Divorce #secondmarriage #blendedfamily

I was so heartbroken and confused after my divorce. At one point or another, like many of you, I believed each of these lies.

We believe the lies of misinterpreted scriptures/religious beliefs and the lies the enemy uses to hurt us.

People told me divorce was a sin and the Bible said I would go to hell if I remarried.

I tried to search for answers, but I was even more confused because I didn’t understand what I was reading.

When I began to have a personal relationship with God, he began to reveal the truth to me.

As I read Blended and Redeemed, my heart swelled with JOY because they were shedding light on so many lies I believed for so long.

Because the truth is, our God loves us so much he made a way to redeem our past. He has grace for those who are victims of others' poor choices and even for those who cause the heartache.

Not only are you free from shame and guilt, but he has a beautiful future for you and your kids when you invite him into your life.

It breaks my heart to think other men and women who have been through divorce still believe these lies.

I am grateful to @blendedkingdomfamilies for writing Blended and Redeemed, a book that gives hope for life after divorce and remarriage.

Never heard of Blended and Redeemed, but the Bible does have a divorce clause. Every prohibition to remarry in the N.T. is in regards to those who are separated (i.e. not legally divorced).

I'm sorry but the bible does say you are not to remarry, unless if your spouse is dead. This is a one time marriage for life thing.
