Trump claims migrants are 'eating the dogs' in Springfield, Ohio during presidential debate

ABC News moderator David Muir fact-checked former President Donald Trump after he went off on allegations of migrants harming cats in Ohio.

"In Springfield, they're eating the dogs, the people that come in, they're eating the cats," Trump said during a riff about illegal immigration and border security.

Prior to the debate, Trump posted memes on Truth Social about the cat allegations, which have been disputed by local authorities.
