Fisker Ocean - Software Update 2.2
Показать описание
Today I will cover the software update 2.2: preparation, update and initial impressions.
I feel the use of a battery tender is fairly controversial but I am going to suggest using one. If you do use one, I suggest keeping it connected when the car is not driven to insure the 12V is always near capacity. I do that anyway to reduce phantom losses as it is. It just happens to be that I am testing the high amp battery charger this week. I feel if you already have a 4-5 A battery tender, it should work fine. I happeneed to be resting a high amp charger this week. Thst option seems more future proof since I can adjust the amps.
Note, I previously had version 2.0 and never saw 2.1. In a follow-up video I will cover additional items and answer and questions you might have. Please let me know what you want to see.

New features:
1. Regen on both axles: With regenerative braking available on both axles, vehicle dynamics will be improved (for AWD vehicle only).
2. External power outlet (US market): The external power adapter can now be connected to the charge port of US vehicles and be used as a power outlet for AC-powered accessories. This feature is also now enabled from the Charging screen on the Central Touchscreen in US vehicles.
3. Additional exterior lighting activation: During the day and night, additional exterior lighting such as the grille lamp and rear tail lamps are activated along with the daytime running lights. Activated lighting varies per market.
Performance improvements:
4. Software changes in the brake module to address all diagnostic trouble codes related to the drag torque control and to enhance the vehicle brake system’s ability to adapt to various driving scenarios.
5. Software changes to remove inner door handle pull and gear change to PARK as triggers which deployed the outer door handles. Deployment will now be triggered when: (1) door is opened/ajar OR (2) door is unlocked by the key fob, smartphone app, or inner door lock switch.
6. Algorithm changes to better estimate vehicle range based on the remaining state of charge (SoC).
7. Ocean’s energy management system enhancements during normal operation and OTA updates to better maintain your vehicle battery’s state of charge (SoC) and reduce passive battery drainage.
8. Climate controls optimization to mitigate fogging at near freezing temperature
9. Other bug fixes and performance enhancements
Since I didn't have Update 2.1, I also got these changes:
10. SolarSky performance enhancements
11. Improved 12V battery management
12. Enhancements to the Driver Display (Tell Tale Lamps now meet NHTSA requirements - size and color)
13. Other bug fixes and performance enhancements
(Fix for regen issues that were part of the recall notice, Fixed the erroneous "charge port door open" message, Less ADAS warnings, Improved key fob operation)
