I made this twice in the past week. It is So So good! I personally suggest adding a little bit of liquid smoke to the water during the steaming process to give it an extra BBQ kick!

Made these the other day for my wife and I. I cooked them on an actual outside charcoal grill along with carrots (veggie dogs) and they were excellent. I also made vegan brown sugar cinnamon baked beans as a side dish and we ate everything lol

I made these ribs on Sunday, and they were amazing. This is probably my favorite recipe I have tried from Veggie Rose. The taste and the texture were amazing. My non vegan mother loved it and was surprised by this recipe, I will definitely make this again. If you don’t try this recipe, you are missing out. SERIOUSLY JUST MAKE IT 😋❤️❤️❤️!!!

I made 32 pounds of the ribz and came back with less than 4 pounds. Made a variation of this to go in a stir fry. And it turned out awesome! I left out paprika, barbecue sauce and tomato paste, and added ginger and teriaki sauce. Thanks for a great seitan recipe! First time it has ever actually worked for me

I made this, it was ok. I definitely like what adding the tofu did to the texture. I would probably blend in some jackfruit to the wet ingredients and see if that really pushes the texture even more. I also would have added more seasoning, or a dry rub to the mix. To pump up the flavor but overall good.

I’ve seen Vegan Ribs made with large, sliced portobello mushrooms that were grilled & doused in bbq sauce then oven broiled 😋 I’m just a bit over using vital wheat gluten, but yours look amazing!

I happened to stumble across one of your vegan nugget videos and then spotted the thumbnail for this video and almost drooled...these vegan ribs look 😍😍😍. But then I got disheartened when you mentioned wheat gluten ☹️...and then you almost immediately started talking about looking for a gluten free alternative - and basically now I'm watching the video while also scouring the comments for suggestions for wheat gluten replacements...

Hi i wanted to let you know i tried ur reciepe and they came out _so bomb_ ! I followed your recipe exactly, the only thing i did different was i stuck the seitan in the Instantpot for 30 and covered it with about a cup of vegetable broth which added a ton more flavor. Oh i also added a little liquid smoke to the base. I then grilled it on the gas grill and man it was so good! Thank you for the recipe, ive been hesitant to try to make seitan but you made it simple and if i could do anyone could do it! Next im gonna make a steak. Now i can finally throw a chunk of "meat" on the grill again, lol

I'm definitely going to try this, I'm not sure why but when I first when Vegan I didn't crave meat at all but lately even kind of been craving the taste of it not the meat so mock meat is the best answer and this looks like an Awesome recipe ! Thanks so much :O)

Made these yesterday. Used extra firm smoked tofu and miso paste and sundried tomatoes as I didn’t have any tomato paste. I don’t like seitan and have been disappointed every time I’ve tried to make them, but these were delish! Gonna try them as steaks next time!
