Should Insulate Britain activists be jailed?

The High Court has granted an injunction to prevent Insulate Britain protesters from occupying roads around Dover.

It comes after Kent police arrested 39 activists who blocked roads in and out of the city's port to protest against inaction on climate change.

talkRADIO's Richard Tice says the group is "driving the whole nation mad".

"These selfish, disruptive clowns are stopping people getting to hospital appointments. We all support the right to protest but that does not mean the right to disrupt and to stop people earning a living.

"They've got to stop mucking about now and the police have got to lock them up."

Should Government Ministers be jailed when they use illicit means to organise contracts using taxpayer's cash?

The police should walk away to collect mops, buckets, shovels and binbags to clean up after leaving drivers to deal with them.

If they are found guilty of commiting a crime that carries the potential for a custodial sentence, then the judge must factor in all mitigating circumstances and prescribe the appropriate penalty.

Pretty simple

If I was the relative of that poor lady who suffered life altering problems after her stroke I would be doing everything I could to get those responsible to court. I would also be all over the media shaming these people

If I sat in the middle of the m25, I'd expect to be dragged off the road immediately and arrested.

Denying people the right to go about their business and earn a living in the name of a highly questionable cause. Now where have we seen that recently?
