Would love to have the Quattro (Torsen) in my car (Merc E350) as last time we went skiing it had snowed heavily during the night and needed 3 men to push us up a slope back to a paved main road.

Twenty years a go I would say Quattro is the best. Today the systems are more equal, both are very good. More important: good tyres and a skilled driver…

I have both and both are pretty darned awesome. Never been stuck in the snow in either my '12 X5 Diesel nor in my '16 Audi S7 though I don't think I will ever do in my future R8 what they did in this video with theirs

I've seen an A6 Quattro plow through over 30cm of snow on a hill without a problem. Like it was nothing. Very impressive

out a BMW X5!
