Is there any benefit to doing this version over the exponent version? Not sure what it’s called, I noticed they both work but wasn’t sure if one was better or not

This is all fascinating but can someone tell me why one would need to convert base 10 numbers to other base systems (if that's the word for it) other than binary?

This is a peculiar code. I understand it and can now replicated but at the same time have no idea what this is used for... I understand that is how mathematics kinda is but without applying it to a real situation I just don't see how it applies to anything in reality... except maybe encrypted code
