In this example, room areas are coming from existing room objects in Revit. (you need to place rooms in advance.)

If you want to add such as target area parameter (required area in planning) you can add new parameter "target area" both in excel and key schedule in Revit, so that you can check placed room areas and target areas.

If you want to populate rooms(areas) in 3d or Areas in Area plan(2d), you might need additional procedures.

For some reason, the script produces null value in the end and key schedule is not getting populated. Does it only work for "Rooms" category? Not sure what I am missing
