You notice through the song the notes on the actual keys start far apart, then drift closer, then far and throughout the song gets closer and far and so close together and really far apart, which represents Mia and Serbs relationship through the movie, and you notice at the end they end up far apart then really closer together, which shows when he plays this song close to Mia at the jazz club.
