Russia launched an all-out invasion of Ukraine by land air and sea. Since the cold war, Russian President Vladimir Putin says his aim is to demilitarize Ukraine. Missiles rained down on Ukrainian cities and explosions were heard near the capital Kyiv. 40 Ukrainian soldiers and 10 civilians have been killed so far.
