That is one of the most badass intake designs! I know there are many supercars, and Porsches, that incorporate this rear panel intake design, but to literally see its design, and in carbon fiber, is so intoxicating! i could literally just look at that all day and be satisfied!

I used to have that dumb idea of sticking the GT3 guts in to a convertible body in my dreams, but got off the idea since someone pointed out that the 911 cab body looks like a bathtub :) Thank god for that, saves me a lot of money ;) I would love to stick it in to a targa body though...

Why does the GT3 have double wishbone suspension up front and multi-link in the rear, and the GT4 has McPherson struts all around? In some ways it’s amazing the suspensions can be so different and the lap times so close. But I wonder why the huge difference?

Interesting stuff. Still can’t believe they dropped the GT3 engine into the GT4! I bet it will sound even better than a GT3 with that intake behind your head! Awesome 👏

I'm on the list for one at my dealer to replace my 981 GT4, but the real killer is the over-the-moon dealer markup they are going to ask, at least initially. Here in California every dealer I asked said $50K over MSRP, which is a real shame. Hoping that if you can wait a little the markup will be reduced.

Is it the same over axle pipe and muffler box that is in the GT4/Spyder?

1. Why does the GT4 RS weight more than the GT3 according to Porsche’s website?
2. Why doesn’t the GT4 RS have 20/21 wheels like the GT3.
3. Why didn’t they shorten the exhaust like the mid-engine 918 to the top rear so it can lessen the power lost?
4. Why didn’t they use double wishbone and include rear wheel steering?
5. Maybe adding a roof scoop on top for more cooling and induction noise and sharkfin like the STO for even better lap time.
