It’s amazing how our schools never got to teach us about why we celebrate Valentine’s Day

Can anyone explain to me, at 2:51 of the video, "We already know that Chaucer was the first to start a centuries-long tradition of students handing out cartoon-clad notes to their whole fourth-grade class and inspiring those magical 11 words: “You bought this card at CVS on your way home, didn’t you?” what does that mean? So curious.

I dont think valentine in 2021 is helpful, with the pandemic, how can you love for a day and go back to pain the next ?

I remember the scene from the 1972 Tales from the Crypt movie. The nice old man received scathing hate Valentine's cards.

St Valentine was a patron saint of love
There used to actually be men back in the old days that would secretly draw names from a box and engage in love encounters with young girls
Kinda like swinger parties in a way
