Golf coach and PGA professional Georgia Ball, who goes by @georgiagolfcoach on social media, was recording a video of herself at the driving range when she was given unsolicited advice.

The clip has since gone viral, with the uncomfortable encounter highlighting just how important it is to mind your own business.

Georgia, who has 173,000 followers on Instagram, was recording herself working on her game and striking the ball down the range when an unseen man to her left felt the need to try and fix her swing.

Georgia calmly turned to the man after he said "excuse me", and showed incredible patience after he told her what she was doing was completely wrong.

I know a lot of people with 20 years experience I wouldn't want advice from.

I remember a bloke in the gym trying to tell me where to put my feet on the exercise bike. I ignored him and then I could see he was looking over at my screen, and trying to out-ride me. I was fresh from Lands End to John O Groats so I casually put the hills on, sped up a bit, and proceeded to make him almost have a self-induced heart attack.

The funny part is that the dude went home proud of having helped someone (or so he thought). Imagine his reaction at seeing this! 😂😂

I love two things about this - first, she doesn't hit him with the club and second, her look at the camera that has, condensed into a millisecond, an eye roll and 'wanker'. Also my first time of experiencing mansplaining so thank you for posting.

Embarrassing for him and she dealt with it like the true professional she is.

I’ve also been playing golf for 20 years and I would just keep my mouth shut and admire her hitting ability.

What a total professional and nice person. She could of said something but let it go and just smiled. She's ace!

Unsolicited advice is unsolicited advice, whether it's from an amateur or a world class coach. She didn't ask for his advice and he didn't listen when she explained why she was swinging the way she was.

THE KEY takeaway and/or lesson here is the man has "been playing golf for 20 years".

My daughter is a CLASS 1 HGV driver, with years of experience driving around the UK and Europe.
Not a day goes by without some random man mansplaining how to park her truck, despite probably never driving anything bigger than a Berlingo themselves 😂

I’ve been playing golf for 20 years. I’m terrible. So much fun though. My playing companions know better than to “coach” me when we play. This woman handled this a million times better than I would have. Just out of curiosity, does everyone out there know what you can do with your unsolicited advice? Yes that’s right you can shove it…Well done ma’am!

I wonder how many blokes he’s helped on the range 🤔

I think this is the same fella that taught George Best how to do keepie uppies. Then he had a word with Federer about his backhand swing.

Lets not take any lessons from him on how NOT to behave ( good intentions aside ).
lets take a big life lesson from her, on politeness, modesty, and consideration of other peoples feelings. She at one point stopped herself making a comment that she thought may have made him feel bad. And that's despite him at least 3 times ignoring her explanation of her going through a swing change.

The most "who asked?" moment I've seen this year

Now this is a genuine case of actual mansplaining. Annoying.

PS her second shot looked true af

Here's what also probably happened. The guy is clearly trying to flirt with her. Any chance to strike up a conversation and chat to her. I am sure that is partially motivated by the fact that he is staring at her ass and she is wearing skin tight pink/uhh nude colored tights on the range. I do not care what she wears to the range or anywhere else but those will get noticed out there not the most common setting for that. Go ahead and roast me you know it's true. I am not excusing his 'mansplaining' I am just commenting on the situation as to his possible motivations. I think after it appeared she was not interested in his advice he should take that as a hint and leave her alone.
