So the advice is to hit it 280-290 and hit every fairway off the tee. Sounds crazy, but okay I will give it a shot.

I like the golf ball into the camera at the beginning.

I found that when I don't concentrate on yardage, I hit it further and straighter. Like someone said let the club do the work.

I had a driver I could hit over 300 yards on a good day but I settled with the more accurate 285 yarder and I tend to score better. I think that is what he meant. to have peace of mind. I don't care how long you are, there is always somebody longer and I am not the longest but I am ok with it.

Drive for show, putt for doe. Short game is everything

I rather have a 100 yard shot over a 50 yarder but I rather be at the 120 yardage over 170 yards. I don't like to lay up because I hit 290-280 on the fairway 80% of the times finding myself with 50-65 yarders.

Then how do you win money at the range betting people 50 over the fence if you dont hit it far?

man I hit my driver 225. I wish I could hit 280-290 and not call that "long"

Good advice. But he's full of absolute shit when he says he never cared about driving it far. At some point the thought would cross anyone's mind!

Interesting thought, but that isn't backed up by the statistics. Mark Broadie, author of 'Every Shot Counts', has run the analysis on 400, 000 tour pro rounds and driving distance makes a huge difference. For the average tour pro, driving an extra 20 yards counts for 0.75 shots per round. He even goes on to say, long and in the rough is better than short and straight. But I get your point about playing within your limits.

I'm 13 and hit it about 272 yards/250 metres is that alright? (Club speed: 100-105 mph)

The best way to play better is to stick with scrambles.

Some salty SOB’s, this advice probably isn’t for the people that can’t break a 100. Probably talking to amateurs around the 10 handicap that actually hit the ball decent.

Was this a commercial for anti narcissism medicine. Really confused

Ok. 280? Really? I am happy if I can get 200. And I can break 90.
