I found a solution to this problem in google sheets. You can paste your column from excel into a google sheets, then use the "=GoogleTranslate" formula. The first parameter is a cell with text, the other is the original language, and the third parameter is your language. I hope this will help you.

This is seriously a very crippled feature! What if I have a 1000 cells that need to be translated?
Please add the following!
1. Translate multiple cells instantly
2. Auto-detect language
3. Automatically translate the text into a different target column!

When you have a large number of cells that require translation, I find it using Google Translate the most efficient option (by uploading the excel).

Well, it's cute to have that... but when I saw a video on Excel, I was rather expecting this to be properly included.... like a real Excel function... what you show here is very manual and doesn't use at all the power of Excel

this feature was deemed to useful and hence removed from excel to make life more difficult.

why can't we just get a =translate(word, fromlanguage, tolanguage)

This is a great video, but I have a little problem.
I cant seem to translate the numbers it self into Arabic, as you may or may not know the Arabic language has its own alphabet and numerical symbols so if you can help me translate a text that contacts words and numbers into Arabic that would be a major thing.

You can copy your column into Word, translate the document in Word, then paste it back into Excel
