$799 for the base Google pixel 9 is wild. I don't care about the software because the previous tensor pixels are going to get it anyway. The fingerprint reader, longer battery life, and new processor with more RAM are the things that actually stand out to me. But it's not justified at that price.

Surely the advancement of our species as a whole and as an individual is predicated on our own thirst for seeking new ways of doing, or new information for ourselves. Simply just accepting knowledge from AI that has to be old knowledge for it to be available, will slow if not stifle an individual's initiative in all but the tech world where new methods of serving old knowledge seems to be the direction.

Meanwhile Gemini can't still do basic tasks like playing a song on a specific app or even sending a message using third party apps. Sounds good on their presentation, but the reality is very different from a sales pitch.

I strongly recommend reading google play - pixel camera opinion from actual users. You might be surprised that the gap between youtube reviewers and people who actually want to utilize pixel phones as a camera is huge (is there other reason to spend so much on expensive phones?). You can also learn whether google is addressing users problems properly... meh

I felt like watching comedy videos all the time. they ashamed the galaxy s24 ultra the live wasn't planned good Enough before going live the pricing wasn't as exited as it could be imagine comparing the iPhone 15 pro Max on live 😢

If you are limiting certain things like the others, just don't bother coming here and saying that you've launched Gemini worldwide and bragging about it. First of all, why don't you explain why you don't sell Pixel phones globally? You don't sell them in my country, but you launching the feature, what a clever idea! I know I can use it in any other Android but the point here is, saying that launching Gemini globally as pointing @Apple or whoever else you think you are pointing while not selling the phone Globally.
