i saved 7 years and bought a1025 indigo blue 335 that i love. my son asked me for my mint 1972 335 about 15 years ago and I gave it to him. I couldn’t ask for it back so I had to save up and bought this one. I did some extra teaching at summer school to help save for this one and I’m so grateful for my job and being able to purchase this guitar. i miss the students. they were sincere and liked learning, made my job happy,

Guys, please consider bringing back the one pickup melody maker. It would also be awesome in red wine or walnut

Hahahahaha I’ve been going back and watching a few of these “collection” videos and there’s this one common denominator with all of these guys. No, I’m not buying anything anymore…. But 😂 if something were to come up…then I’d probably buy it. Too funny! I love it!

I don’t think of them as investments, more a privilege to own, getting money back or even taking a loss is like hiring or paying for the privilege of looking after a beautiful guitar for while. You should never take a total bath on any guitar.
I learned on a Satellite Strat plugged in to a stereo, my son picks up a Gretsch or an R9 when he goes in to my office! 😮😅

An investment?
How could I ever sell a vintage Les Paul that I owned, played and loved?
(That is if I ever owned one)

if the value of a dollar drops in half over 30 years and you get double your money then you didn't make any money.
