I had a steamer, with two baskets, believe i got it at walmart. It was definitely big enough to steam meats and veggies at the same time. I'm sure it will be big enough for you to steam all of his foods at once. You put the veggies which requires more time at the bottom. It was $20-25. If you haven't seen naptural85 baby food videos, she would use ice trays to freeze the food then move it to a ziploc bag afterwards, but she thawed the food the same as you. Watching your videos are so enjoyable
