I bought one of these back in about 1997. It’s my go-to guitar - I find it very versatile with a number of ways to produce great sound.

Not familiar with Kauffmann, but liked hearing this guitar. Sounds great. I'd love to hear it with at least a blend of an SM57 right on the amp, if possible. And wondering, with them being essentially all rails, does it quack in 2 and 4?

Was offered one of these, but after I have heard this video I think I'll pass on it. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE G&Ls, I have a USA Blues boy ASAT. But the pickups leaned to far into Humbucker territory for me, no top end sparkle. Got to find me a clean "regular" Legacy with true single coils. Or better yet, a Comanche. Those "Z" coils are humbucking, yet retain the single coil tone much closer than these "blade" types do.
