Fender Strat VS G&L Legacy

Both guitars are exceptional guitars, but which one is the best for you?

The strat sounds cleaner, but unless you're looking for a super specific sound or you're creating your own specific sound, I would go with the legacy.

There are a lot of people out there that played guitar, they don't realize that you can take an old cheap guitar and buy a couple of humbuckers or any other good set of pickups and bring an old cheap guitar to life

Im going with the g&L. The fender strat tone is nice buuut it gets old fast, the g&l is straty while still sounding quite vague

Play a $1200 legacy against that strat and i bet its a different story. G&L makes real quality products maybe even better than fender

G&L is not pretending to be Fender, it is good in itself, so the question “where is the real one” is incorrect. G&L is super real.

Extremely subtle difference. Strat is warmer but it seems like the casual listener 1: wouldn't know. 2: wouldn't care.
In the right hands nowadays a cheap guitar can sound like an overpriced "heirloom" instrument

It’s basically the same sounding. If you remove the visual you really can’t tell the difference
