Incredible. I'm not an engineer or aviation mechanic, but considering it's operational lifespan, the C-130 HAS to be one of the most perfect designs in the history of mechanized transport.

Wrong this aircraft was retired in 2019 but the JATO was retired in the 2009 air show season at NAS Pensacola Homecoming Airshow and I was there to see it during both shows

I remember and episode of CHIPS where a guy put a JATO pack on the back of his car. He tried to use it and crashed.
