The 109th is just a few miles from my house and the planes routinely fly over doing flight exercises. I love watching our Skiers in action!

These are an everyday sight at my house I just bought. It's about 2 miles away from Stratton Air base in New York. Their practice runs are a sight to see still, It's amazing.

The New York Guard Hercules LC - 130 operate out of Christchurch International Airport (New Zealand)
Over our summer which is the ice season, i usually see the hercules heading down to the ice, as they usually fly over our house on the way there interesting that 109th may be moving on to the LC-130 J, as there were last season some Hercules of theirs that sounded different from the older Hercules they use, noted that a turbo Douglas C-47/DC-3, last time that that a C-47 was also known as R4D's late rename LC-47H's by the U.S Navy would have been mid to late 1960s, the first to use The name LC was US Navy. VXE-6 Squadron (US Navy) operated operation Deep Freeze from 1950's to 1998 with back up from the U.S.A.F for bigger loads. From the 1998 to the present now all U.S.A.F operated.

Here is some great clear footage of a LC-130 in Antarctica, now for takeoff and firing of the JATO rockets we'll be switching over to a potato camera...

My cousin piloted this beast on this route. He's kind of a douche but I would be lying if I said I wasn't jealous. Lol
