It’s almost as if the car game community has stated exactly what we wanted in a game and year after year the companies give us what the companies want. Then say the genre is dying. What is going on? How have they progressively gotten worse ?

Car games can't just have a regular character starting from the bottom grinding for each car and mod anymore. I miss the Midnight Club series.

Is it really so hard in 2024, to code a proper behaviour of transmission? Like shifting speed?

And why the heck, every single car seems to rev a 1000 rpm higher than its real counterpart? This is more offputting for me as a carguy, than other things in this game.
