I played TDU 1 and 2 as well as the older Test Drive games on PS1. I wish this was not online only but I am still very excited for it. It definitely has the potential to be great but they need to add cross platform play at some point soon

Online only what means 1 safe file and that punishes 100% runers like mee to make 2 acounts so wee can play one run with streets and one with sharps so im hoping that wee can have multiple save files

Online Only? Don't buy because it likely will be shut down within a year or two given the industry's greed. They did this with previous Test Drive games.

if you wanna save the industry or your right as a consumer, DON'T BUY unless they promise to bring a single player mode, or at least provide a plan to preserve the game by allowing players to host their own servers or by allowing peer to peer connection in case the game fails, because as of now, it all depends on their own official servers, so they can pull the plug whenever they want and you won't be able to do anything about it. All your money will be gone for nothing, all of the devs and artists work will vanish as that server goes down. . The Test Drive series has an ugly track record of doing exactly that.

If you don't care, just buy. Not judging, but don't cry if you saw it coming.


Btw, people who call it a disappointment for being a "social experience", please do a bit of research, because that social experience life-sim vibe is what made test drive standout as a racing game. It's not forced or new, it was there from previous games. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I'd buy full price day one if it had a good plan for preservation. Also, players should be able to purchase houses..

Too predictable, always online, cool cars behind paywalls, and after 2 years, content is going to be inaccessible because the servers have to shut down because it’s going to sell like poop 🙄

Boy can you tell this is NOT a racing channel, nor do they know anything about racing. What a racing ACTUALLY wants to know:
- Is FFB supported? How good is it?
- Are wheels/pedals supported? How good is that support?
- Can you use separate wheels and pedal devices? (some older and even newer games can't)
- How does the physics feel? Are there any options here to change?

And that's just off the top of my head. Usually a great channel but this one was an absolute fail and waste of time.
