Lelouch's reasoning really isn't over to Light, thinking is debatable, but Light still takes for me.
Light's Logical RSN (If it's a if-then statement then it's deduction. If it starts with "Likely" then it's an abduction.):
Premise 1: Light owns Notebook 1, with Ryuk attached.
Premise 2: Light owns Notebook 2, with Rem attached. (After Misa relinquished ownership.)
Premise 3: When ownership of the Notebook is relinquished, then memory about the notebook is lost. Once regained, the memories are back.
Premise 4: When ownership of the Notebook is relinquished, ownership returns to the Shinigami attached.
Premise 5: Ownership can be transferred from Shinigami to Shinigami via touch.
Premise 6: If a Shinigami drops a notebook in the human world, it is owned by the human world and is free to be used by a human.
Premise 7: The Shinigami whose notebook is dropped into the human world, once picked up by a human, is the one attached to them.
Premise 8: The owner of the notebook in the human world is whoever touches it first.
Premise 9: When human ownership of the Notebook is relinquished, then the next human to touch it is the owner.
Premise 10: Rem follows Light’s orders because she doesn’t want Misa to die.
Premise 11: Light goes into confinement willingly on June 1, 2004 in order to make premise 12 untrue for himself.
Premise 12: If criminals eventually begin dying via heart attacks, someone must be viewing their name and faces, as well as holding Kira’s power/is Kira.
Premise 13: Misa is under suspicion of being the 2nd Kira and is confined.
Premise 14: If Light says “Get rid of it.” Then his ownership on Notebook 2 is relinquished and buried by Ryuk in a designated spot.
Premise 15: Once a person who’s relinquished ownership of a Death Note touches it again, they get partial ownership as long as they continue contact with it, until the real owner dies or forfeits it.
Premise 16: Doing the Shinigami Eyes trade will half your lifespan. Misa has done this once already.
Premise 17: There is a fake rule stating if the owner of the notebook does not kill in 13 days they will die.

If Light relinquishes ownership of Notebook 2, then it will be owned by Rem. (As Light still owns Notebook 1, he doesn’t lose his memories like in Premise 3.)
If Rem gives Notebook 2 to Ryuk, then it will be owned by Ryuk. (Premise 5)
If Ryuk drops it back to the human world, then it is owned by the human world. (Premise 6)
If Light picks up Notebook 2, then he regains ownership. (Premise 8)
If Light picks up Notebook 2, then Ryuk is attached to Notebook 2. (Premise 7)
If Light relinquishes ownership of Notebook 1, then it returns to Ryuk. (Premise 4)
If Ryuk gives Rem Notebook 1, then ownership is given to Rem. (Premise 5)
If Light tells Rem to give Notebook 1 to a person who would kill for their greed, then Rem will do it. (Premise 10)
If Light goes into confinement willingly on June 1, then criminals will begin dying during confinement due to the previous effect. (Premise 11)
If Light says “Get rid of it.”, then he will lose his memories of Notebook 2, and Ryuk will dig the Notebook 2 into the dirt. (Premise 14)

If the 13-Day rule is true, Misa and Light can be Kira, but they’re not dead. (Premise 17)
If the 13-Day rule is false, Misa and Light can be Kira. (Premise 17)
Likely, if L tests the rule, acknowledging it as false, he will catch Misa and kill her.
If Misa is in danger, Rem will kill L. (Premise 10)

Light has like no Observation nor Cold Reading feats I don't think. Lelouch's manipulation works more on people he already knows and has relationships with. Like what he did with Rolo, Kallen, etc. That would be direct, emotional manip etc. Light excels at manipulating from the background, (like how he turned the NPA against L, how he killed Rem, and how he got Raye Penber with a slip of paper. His logical manip is good too, Naomi Misora feat and how he killed the FBI agents.) Generally, Light's manipulation would be more effective against Lelouch in most situations.

Anyways, it could go either way.
