I know it's a bit shocking, but it's true. Will and Sonny's last episode is projected to air September 18th, 2020. I want to personally thank all the fans who have supported this incredible love story over the years. I have am so grateful to everyone at Days of Our Lives, from cast to crew, and up the ladder for giving me a shot to portray Sonny Kirakis.

Any Days of Our Lives fan knows, the door is never completely closed in Salem, so maybe Wilson will return in the future, but for now, we say goodbye to Salem.

Dear Freddie and Chandler, I am a 63 year old mom, grandmother and great grandmother. My grandmother is the reason I started watching Days. If you can imagine she use to call Days the Horton bunch! I use to be old fashion and I wasn't against same sex couples, I just didn't understand it. Through your brilliant acting and sensitive subject storylines I have completely opened my mind and heart to same sex couples. You helped me to understand the struggles that they go through. Sonny and Will could be my grandchildren and if they were I would be standing by their side fighting the good fight. All because of your excellent acting. I think Days is yanking our chain and trying to get viewers upset. Then they will bring you back and we get excited. That's how they mess with our heads. What a dumb risk the producers are taking by letting you go because you both have such great talent. They tried to replace Chandler at one time and it was never the same until he came back. There is no way they will be able to replace Freddie.

You guys are the reason why I started watching Days of our Lives, again, in 2011. If Sonny and Will were never created, I don't think I would be watching. It won't be the same without you guys. Its been amazing watching yours and Chandler journey on Days. So sad! It's an end of an era for now.

The WilSon storyline was so impactful to me when it started. I was a lot like Will struggling to come out and accepting myself and then I came across your guys so storyline on YouTube and was hooked from there. You two have the best chemistry on air, it is truly magical and I felt like I was truly watching a true love story between you two. You both pulled on our heartstrings and brought so much joy and emotion to us all. I stopped watching when Chandler left cause the chemistry was not the same but when he came back I was hooked like everyone else. We all waited to get you two back together so that we had our original WilSon back. To me the WilSon storyline will go down in the books as the GREATEST gay love couple EVER truly! No one comes even close. Thank you both for everything that you have done and just have done an amazing job with this. I hope the writers end it right but either way Will and Sonny are the endgame. Thank You Freddie and Thank You Chandler! Truly touched us all! We love you guys and are so so proud!!!

As an older (34) gay man I have always wanted to see more LGBT characters in shows. When Days made its breakthrough with Sonny and Will as a gay power couple I was elated. It is a joy watching you grow in the show and showing people that it’s normal for gay couples to exist. Thank you for showing that and I am sad to know you are leaving.
