Rainy Black Forest Ride: Suzuki V Strom 800 DE

Filmed this video on the day I dropped off the XR600R for service and picked up a Suzuki V Strom 800 DE. It started out sunny but quickly turned into a very moody and misty afternoon ride. The atmosphere on the B500 black forest road was quite magical. Normally and especially on the weekend it is rather busy and you are barely alone. Usually you have a fabulous view riding on the ridge of the mountain, but here the only thing visible was the dark tree tops peeking out of the mist.

It's quite an undertaking to make this kind of video in nice weather.... so respect for persevering in the rain. I know how tiresome it can be to get on and off the bike when it's wet, just to move/stop/start the camera!

I got over my fear of riding in the rain and with some good grippy tires and a bit of care, the Black Forrest in the rain is amazing, especially the side roads high up, they start looking a bit misty and magical with the deep forest arround. And sometimes you go above and there's a sea of clouds and mist that looks insane. Nice bike, I have the big 1050 brother.

Die v Strom 800 DE ist auch auf meiner Liste, optisch schaut sie gut aus und hat nen großen Tank :D die Tendez liegt bei mir eher auf die Ktm 790 adventure oder n benelli 702 :D
