Do you have, or plan on having a fishroom? If so, has this video influenced you at all? What would be some things you would add to my list?

I would totally agree. I currently have 62 tanks in my fish room and still growing. I think you nailed it on the pros and cons. Love your videos and content.

I've got a fish room of my own, all my tanks are there except for one display 75 in the main entryway. I think you touched on this a little bit, but one of the best things about having the fish room is the fact that you have a space that is entirely yours creatively speaking. There is a large physical space that you can experiment with, and where you can see ideas and planning come to life and be realized; I think there is a lot to be said about that aspect of the hobby.

Plus a room full of great / special tanks really gives off a fantastic private aquarium feel that is fantastic to experience personally, and really blows away guests. There are few people that don't find a strong school of 100+ silver tip tetras at least a little bit awe inspiring.

I greatly appreciate how you structured the video. Arguing the Pro's and Con's is a great way to present a more grounded argument.
I've often seen fish rooms I've been jealous of. But my propensity for automation and a desire to limit the amount of chores has always led me towards running a single system (aside from say a hospital tank when necessary). That perspective has also lead me to criticize channels which overly support having a dedicated room as the only viable path forward.
However, I think you did the topic justice. You have a beautiful example to show, and presented the double edge in a reasonable set of arguments. Good video Sir.

Your pillow worked. I glanced down to see I had not subscribed yet (gasp!) so I corrected that. Great video that should help people decide whether to take the plunge into wholesale madness or not.

Loved the video! I have about 15 tanks spread across three different rooms in my house and one on my porch so I can’t really use an air pump for all of them and it’s also a lot more walking to feed everything than if I had them all in one room. I’ve been able to avoid extra maintenance by focusing more on plants and bacteria than filters and it’s worked out surprisingly well so far

I have a fishroom with 21 fish tanks on the go. Enzo is correct on all of the pros and cons.
Keep up the incredible content and information. Each of your videos have helped me learn and become a better fish keeper/breeder.

Great and very accurate info for us with MTS. I agree with all what you said. My youngest son moves out and his room became my fishroom. I have 23 tanks there and and another 6 in my office 😳🥴 I love every bit of it!

I think one other issue, that goes along with space, is weight of the tanks. Seems easiest to put a fish room in the basement, otherwise you’d likely need to reinforce the floors

I just wanna say zenzo you’re editing and video skills have gotten so much better then when you started. Keep making amazing videos!

I enjoy watching YOUR fishroom, lol I have two small tanks, and that is enough for me; the work and worry of your fishroom would soon be overwhelming. Take care, be well.

I’ve started taking over a basement corner. 1 6g, 1 29g and 2 40g. Right now it’s functional. I’m working on making it better looking. 1 also have 1 20g cube in the living room.

Great video Zenzo! I used to want a fish room, and started my first 55 gallon in a spare room. And then maintaining simply one tank was harder than I thought. (Health stuff) Then I got two several years later a 20L and regular 20. Plus a 10 for quarantine. All in my dining/living/kitchen. And since I am a clutter bug, it drove my husband crazy. We finally agreed to one big tank which is ok, a 75 but it’s a busy room and the cats swat at the fish, and the dogs race through, so the fish are fairly spooked. Definitely not as restful as closing a door and just watching your tank. So I wish we had placed this tank in that space again. But I would definitely develop MTS a lot faster with a room with just one tank. So maybe this is for the best.
Although, the two quarantine tanks that I am setting up today in my bedroom…well they won’t be QTs forever… 😜

The one CON that I have with just one big tank, is wanting different types of fish that really can’t live together. So that MTS creeps in again.

I like having a few tanks spread around the apartment. It's like having a piece of me around the house. Love your fish room!

Thank you for great video content! I do have a fish room dedicated (1-125g, 2-75g, 2-40 breeder tanks and 2-20g long) is all Tanganyika cichlids. Everything you said is correct.. so relaxing to watch them all!.

Considered it, as I've had dedicated reptile/ invert rooms for many, many years. However, I'm pretty content to have a select few larger tanks + QT/hospital tanks as kind of a compromise. Cost, maintenance, and potential problems were the major factors in that decision.
