Schenk Mansion is on the National Register. Exterior renovations particularly to the principal facade will be limited. From that vantage point, the facade looks well maintained so likely none needed. It is a wonderful 19th century home. Glad to see it is maintaining its integrity through different owners.

When you buy a house labeled by the city, county, state as a historic residence or monument. You can't buy it and just renovate it however you see fit. Most often you have to just keep it preserved in it's original state. Even often down to the original exterior paint colors.

I have to admit the tulips are not as impressive as that red swimming pool you had in Cali. Plant more! Looks like the towns people really enjoy them.
