The TLC show offered Von D a role on the show when fellow tattoo artist Darren Brass broke his elbow. Von D eventually got her own reality show on TLC called "L.A. Ink," which followed her work as a tattoo artist in Hollywood. The show launched Von D’s career and made her into a prominent reality TV show star. Wow, I'm impressed at the comment section here. I gotta say a few things. I've been a huge fan of Kat for more than 10 years. I've seen her grow and change through time, man, I was like 13 when I first laid eyes on LA Ink and discovered she was the boss of her own tattoo shop.


She released a video saying it was irresponsible to have shared such views, and that she was only scared of anything that goes into her baby's body, which is valid, I think, and I'd like to point out a few things:



1. She is not a nazi. There was an investigation held by TLC at the time and concluded it was not her writing. I think it's common sense to realize that when you're a public figure who just signed a major contract with a network, you wouldn't do shit like that + that network would not want to be associated with "nazis". In case you haven't watched the video in which she explains that too: she left a bunch of signed photos at Miami Ink's set on the last day of shooting for the whole production crew, and it got to the wrong hands. The whole "Selektion" lipstick matter, was because of the band "Die Selektion". She also apologized and said it was wrong to have named something that should've had more research.


2. She did date Jesse James, yes, he was and probably still is a dickhead. He does have a picture wearing a nazi hat and doing that Hitler arm thing, and, last I heard, supposedly, he sent that picture to his therapist (or something like that) who is a jew as some sort of idiotic inner joke. He cheated on Kat with over 19 girls that she knows of and there are some interviews where she addresses that time of her life as "wasted years".


3. The whole Jeffree Star drama. For this exact point, I'd like to tell you to please look up how many people has Jeffree had problems with throughout his career. He ain't not victim, but that whole drama with him was uncalled for, and I do acknowledge that as her fan, but, If anything, please don't victimize a guy who's had fallouts with pretty much every single person he's ever called "best friend".


As far as myself, I went from being an average fan (I guess), to meeting her, sharing a table with her on multiple occasions. I wish you all could meet her and see the very beautiful and sweet human she is and yeah, I might not know her 100% and can't say I do, but at least TO ME, she is always been the most amazing person ever.


At the end, she is a human, and all of us are bound to make mistakes. I'm not justifying wrongful actions from her end, I'm just trying to point out all those "rumors" about her being a nazi and an anti vaxxer, which are the reasons why the whole witch hunt started in the first place, have been cleared by her already.


I know I'll probably get responses saying how "sorry" you feel for admiring someone like her, and so be it, I shared the previous points with you all so you could be better informed. You're free to hate her as much as I am free to support her. She really is so, so down to earth and genuine.
