I've never had a pair of trucks in my life start loose and get tighter and tighter? I've skated indies and thunders my whole life? The longer I skate them, the more the bushing breaks in, and they get loser over time. I love your content, and have watched you for years. This is probably the first time I've seen you say something that just straight confused me. Lol

I never get why people talk about how tight trucks are when they get the complete. Truck tightness "perfect" is such a subjective thing. Some people skate lose trucks some tight. I change mine depending on how I want to skate that day.
It's like expecting a guitar to come tuned out of the box.
Adjusting the trucks should be a daily thing.

I remember working for TGM when they were a small shop next to my middle school. Before that, they sold mostly fitness equipment and Canadian maple blanks. It’s wild to see them featured like this verses seeing them on Amazon.

"usually trucks start off loose and get tighter " lol

Core is popular because they’re not overpriced and they last. They are a bit heavy in my opinion but great for a beginner setup.

TGM is a store out of Mt. Clemens, Michigan. They just list some things on Amazon.

The point about trucks getting tighter over time wasn’t expressed quite right I think but what I think you were getting at is how bushings out of the box will feel a bit looser and will naturally tighten a bit after they break in which is usually session or two for me, not really “over time”

The only thing loose or tight about trucks is the bushings my guys 😂😂😂😂😂

I’ve def seen core trucks around. They’re like the cheap ones ppl get. Kinda like Bullet trucks. You’ll see those on all of NHS pre-builts, but ive only seen cores on TGM completes, which is like another CCS type site

No matter what truck I get... I replace the bushings with Bones hardcore bushings... I weigh 220 lbs. Tho... I always blow out stock bushings along with some wheel bite..😅

Core trucks are alright. I have a pair for a 10" cruiser I setup. They are made of a soft metal though. They grind down really fast. I view them on the same level as I would CCS branded truck.

Yeah, I use Thunder and Krux trucks. Obviously reds bearings, black magic grip tape, bones or spitfire wheels, and being a 6'6" guy with fairly large feet I ride an 8.5 blind deck. I like the extra weight from Blind, but I've used independent, girl, blind, element, real, and blank decks. Blind and Independant are by far what I'm most comfortable on (vert), but if I'm on street I do like girl and real decks. Idk why but girl decks feel like they're much easier to flip.

Core is a generic truck . It's only popular because they come on completes that are sold for very low prices. It's a starter truck.this would be the first board most parents buy their kids before they know anything about skateboarding.

bushing material heats up and hardens when it cools, each time you skate this happens, trucks will get tighter.
