Im a Virginia Beach local that in the last year, had to move away for a while. I'm no fisherman, I'm no environmental scientist, I'm just a guy who loves to be outside in the marsh or on the beach and really connect with nature; study the foliage, the fauna. You hit a lot of the well-known hidden gems and it really had me missing that VB air. Beautiful video! Man, that monolog at the end had me in tears. You perfectly captured the things i ponder when I'm out there about how ancient the land is and how there has been people living there in harmony with the land for eons. Loved this

This was obviously filmed, before the city decided to destroy Pleasure House Point. Some of the aerial views now would look like a wasteland

Too bad they didn't mention the menhaden boats destrorong the spot, troutand croaker fishery. We are used to the rise and fall of the fishery. This is the longest fall in my 45 years of fishing.
