MASS EXODUS Is Everyone Leaving Big Cities? Where Are They Moving To?

Why is everyone leaving California? Why is everyone leaving New York? The mass exodus from America's major cities continues. There is a huge migration of people leaving the city, escaping the big cities, and moving south to less congested areas. The population in the United States is leaving the big city life and heading in this direction. Many entrepreneurs and companies turning to online remote work, we’re seeing a trend of fleeing big cities to places and housing less crowded and with lower taxes. Most southern towns in the United States are gaining population through migration. Many big cities are actually losing population due to outward migration. If you have said: I am leaving New York, or I am leaving California....you are not alone! With more and more people are deciding to leave the city, they want to move where taxes are lower, the cost of living is lower, the weather is better and they can experience life again! Much of the population is moving south! The Carolinas, specifically North Carolina, and South Carolina look to be a favorite on the list. But the coastal Carolinas look like the big winners!

It's hard to describe how awful it was in NYC last summer. There were rampaging mobs breaking everything in sight. The police basically stood back and let them. It was chaos, you couldn't go outside to walk your dog without being accosted by some crazy. There were fires right down the street, police stations were besieged, everything shut down. This isn't hyperbole, this is first-person fact. A lot of people decided then to leave and have bided their time but are getting out. That's just the reality.

We are conservative Californians who will be moving to either Texas, Tennessee, or South Carolina in a couple of years. Have friends in Myrtle Beach who have been encouraging us to move there for years. Daughter out of college so we are out of Commiefornia ASAP. ✝️🇺🇸🇵🇭

Good Lord, I NEVER understood the desire to live in an urban area. People packed like sardines, paying exorbitant prices for their, usually rented, homes, crappy public schools, and congestion in general. Not to mention the filth inherent to throngs of people touching everything... Ugh! No wonder they're leaving. My only question is, what took so long to figure that out?

Interesting video. People are fleeing big LIBERAL cities. I was born and raised in the NYC metro area and now live in Myrtle Beach, SC. Property taxes on Long Island where I'm from average 15K/year. Here I pay less than 800 bucks a year and the schools here are great (I have been in my child's school on a regular basis). It was a no brainer. New York's idiotic left wing policies, which affect every aspect of life, are driving every sane person out. This is going on in DC, Baltimore, LA, Chicago, etc. as well....

The pandemic certainly plays a part, but the bigger danger is that the inhabitants of cities have accepted the tyranny of the "under-privileged minority". When any group is not allowed to say anything critical of another group (especially a violent one), while the reverse is not true, there is an imbalance. Part of that "mass exodus" is due to the first group moving where they can live free of random violence.

There isn't any peaceful protests in the country. We sold our city house last week.

So people love the Carolinas, particularly North and South Carolina. I can see why because East and West Carolina are certainly less desirable! Ok, just having a little fun here! What do you think about E Texas Jerry? I'm getting ready to move there . It's going to be a big change but my wife is a school teacher so she will have work. We want to get out of the area we're in . The politicians are totally inept and taxes and crime are high. Thanks
