Nice you included Pressa Canario’s in your photos, and tried to pass them off as Boerboel’s!

After working for 10years with these beatifull creatures, i have to say that alot of the information you provide is correct, however, for the people whom now think they wanna purchase a boerboel, make sure you socialize them from the beginning, with other dogs and animals, and humans. Because their instinct will take over and you will have a nightmare on your hands. Don't forget these dogs can go upto 200lbs with a bite force of around 650psi. However, with good socialization these are amazing hfamily dogs and will protect your family at all costs. My oldest and biggest boerboel (django-210lbs-6yeras old) has single handed killed allready more than a dozen coyotes to protect our land. Just to say what they are capable off.

Used to have family in SA, just loved the family boerboel dogs, sitting out at night with a bottle of beer and two 'monsters' siting one on each side, 100% safe.

Yes the Boerboel is one of the biggest and strongest breeds in the world.A very good job done by the original South African farmers in breeding this dog.

The Boerboel is not "also known as" the South African Mastiff. An English Mastiff in South Africa, is an English Mastiff. A Boerboel in South Africa is a Boerboel.

I like this video and information given. My only disagreement is if you're informing about a boerboel why are pictures being shown of a Presa canario.

Why are Presa Canario dogs being shown in a Boerboel video? (All the dogs with cropped ears and full tails)

Boerboel are in my experience really are one of the most powerful I wouldn't say he the most powerful but without doubt one of the top 4, the most powerful I would have to honestly give that honor to the English Mastiff which 250 lbs is not that rare even 285lbs I seen these dogs kill horses and cattle alone. They don't have energy the boerboel does, but his size and power end his fight extremely fast. Both are close in character, but the boerboel will get physical alot faster than the English Mastiff which protective also but give you more chances to not die than a boerboel will give you. Boerboel don't really wait to see if your dangerous. Other are close like the alibai, Caucasian mountain dog, a English Mastiff would never jump over a fence, I seen them run through it.

I appreciate your effort of this video, but several things you stated about the Boerboel are not correct. A true Boerboel is not a gentle giant, but is brutally protective. They do not, by nature, like other animals they have not grown with. I have a female Boerboel, and she will try to eliminate any other animal outside the doors of my house.. male or female, cat or bird, doesn't matter. I have to be careful with her at all times, in all places, even though she is very well trained. She also is extremely fast.. faster than my Corso and Lab. They are not English Mastiffs, so stop comparing the two. Please, I do not know where you get your information from, but you really shouldn't speak about Boerboel, or any dog, unless you have experienced them. People who might take your information as fact and buy a Boerboel might end up getting someone hurt.

My BB was very happy with my staffie LOL she could easily pull the staffie round like a rag doll, but when playing tug of war she would only apply as much strength to ensure the staffie did not win even while growling and making as if she was really pulling hard, used to be so cute and funny to watch. Now and then the staffie (staffie was male BB female) would get cocky and then the BB would apply her full strength and teach him who is boss. I really them both.
