My younger sister was in labour when I first heard this song. she was listening to this song as she was having her contractions. After she gave birth we listened to this song again with her newborn baby. God is great this song is a daily reminder to put our trust in the Lord always.

I shared this song with my neighbor who's husband was in the hospital with Covid about a month ago. Two weeks ago he went to be with the Lord leaving her a widow and a single mother of a 7 year old boy. Her husband was a Christian but she was raised Buddhist. I have been sharing the Gospel with her and was humbled to find that she was playing this song to her husband while he lay unconscious and on a ventilator. She told me how much it comforted her to the core. Yesterday at her husband's funeral this song was played in the beginning and so many were affected by it. I also wrote a closing prayer that was read that tied in Isaiah 43.
I cannot convey the deep gratitude and the grace of God that made this song known to me and then to her and others. Audrey, I don't know if you are the author or who I can thank. This song, I'm certain has and will comfort so many walking through deep waters knowing they are on the shoulders of Jesus. Thank you and Praise God!

I know a kid and we are friends on Facebook. He discovered the music of John Fischer the other day. He thought it was cool and kind of old school. For me, it brought back memories of sitting next to John and saying hi to him on the front pew of my local church. But it also made me realize that was the time we crossed over from Christian songs you could sing around a campfire to songs you listened to on the radio. Remember "Love Him In The Morning?" That was kind of the last campfire song.

I remember going to my grandparents' church and having an old guy joke with me about the Charismatics and their "7-11 music." 7 chord changes and 11 words. Well, I am a Charismatic, and I think we need to bring back some choruses. Some 7-11 music, that kids can sing. This is a good start.
