What if these indie shows became video games?

So the other day i covered how a popular indie animation called ena, released it’s own video game called dream bbq. What if a similar thing happened for other shows?

So the first and probably the best example is the amazing digital circus. Like ena it’s video game themed already, but i think it would work really well as a point and click adventure game with horror elements. Fans actually made prototypes of this a year ago and it looks awesome. The colourful characters and world contrast really well against the dark shadows. It feels like something you’d play on the playstation 2.

The next show that could fit a video game adaptation would be helluva boss. It could be a hitman or assassination type game, where the cast goes on missions to murder their targets and expand their arsenal. Alternatively it could work as a classic fighting game, with each character having a unique moveset.

What do you think? Is there any other indie shows that could work as video games? Let me know down below.

I literally NEED every indie show to have a video game.

I think digital circus would be a vr game, seeing as it is basically a person stuck in a vr world, so a vr game feels more correct

Alan Becker (creator of animator vs animation) is actually making an indie game based off his show right now
It's already 6x past its funding goal on Kickstarter so it definitely will be happening

Imagine HH as a sim game where CHarlie has to try to keep everyone as happy and sane as she could while dealing with everyone. Maybe they can earn earn money doing group projects and have to shoo away spies who sew discontent or something?

Honestly I'd love to see a game adaptation of the amazing digital circus where we see what people in the "real world" see. I definitely imagine an adventure game (obviously) where I guess you'd pick a character to control and go crazy. Over and over and over and over and

Im pretty sure people are working on an unofficial murder drones one that looks really cool

Edit: Murder Drones: Retribution is what it's called btw. Thank you replies since I was too lazy to check :)

I think Helluva Boss would be great for a GTA styled game. Go around Imp City, and possibly the entire Pride Ring, complete missions, drive around, beat up and/or kill innocent people, interact with tons of different npcs, it'd be perfect.

There’s actually a fan game for helluva boss which is like a classic arcade beat em up called helluva brawl

Okay, a HB video game that's basically Hitman on crack sounds so fun! I would laugh my butt off at that game. Plus think of all the Easter eggs you could hide in it. I would also like to suggest

A Hazbin Hotel M.M.O. where you create an angel, sinner, or hellborn and can visit all of hell or Heaven and interact and do missions for all the characters. You could help the hotel, off people with I.M.P, exterminate with the exorcists. Just do whatever. That would be SO FUN!

Now I’m imagining a “The Amazing Digital Circus” version of the “I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream” video game

Like each character has their own solo adventure and solving puzzles while reaching a common goal

I had a dream about the helluva-verse as a whole on Roblox like a battle grounds type game

If Helluva Boss became a video game, I could see it working a lot like GTA video games, where there can be the side missions to assassinate a target while the story goes through, well the story.

Here are my ideas

Murder Drone- the only way I can imagine it that it’s like Bayonetta but you play as Uzi Doorman

Helluva Boss- a Hitman inspired game where you get missions from sinners to go to the human realm and kill targets. There can also be a story mode where when you progress you can unlock new characters like Striker and Fizzarolli

Port by the Sea- this would be similar to the LoZ Windwaker, you can sail the seas, visit different villages and explore different places while you fight monsters and collect pieces of the moon

I think part of the reason “ENA: Dream BBQ” did so well is because it looked and felt like you were playing through an episode of the show. Part of the reason both South Park “The Stick of Truth” and “The Fractured But Whole” did so well was because they looked, felt, and were written as though it were just one long episode, and while I haven’t played it myself yet I think that’s something that helps “ENA: Dream BBQ” and should be something to consider for future indie animation games. It’s not a rule set in stone, but it would be nice and might help if possible.

Murder Drones scenarios.

1st: Survival Horror where we play as a worker drone, dealing with the Absolute Solver's antics and, unlike the main series, Uzi and company aren't around to help us so we have to figure things out for ourselves. The odds would be stacked against us, yet with our wits and maybe some tools/weapons, we can survive and emerge victorious. However, we probably won't do it unscathed...

2nd: Reverse horror story where we play as a disassembly drone (NOT a solver host as that would be too easy), facing off against worker drones as well as a possibly hostile human faction. The latter of which would get the game an M rating fast. This one is pure power fantasy and one that I replay the heck out of, but still fun to think about.

3rd: Interactive movie that is pure What-If scenario and we can alter the events of the series as we progress. As a Telltale and Supermassive fan, I'd like to see this as a way to see what could've been if we could either make things better, make them worse, or make them roughly the same as they were, just with us directly in the driver's seat. The fight scenes would be QTE-based and "no one is safe" is in full effect. In other words, this would be the game I want to happen, but I imagine would be too ambitious to pull off.

Murder drones as an action adventure game! You can play as uzi at the start and then N can join your team later on and the eldritch J can be a boss fight
