I appreciate the fact that people can’t use them to track other people, but it sounds like if someone someone stole your purse or wallet they would get that same notification. They could just locate the air tag and discard it.

5:37 damn, I mean as a stalking issue I understand but also, if you have this hidden in something like a backpack and someone steals it, they will probably find it and throw the airtag away.

I have been planning on putting this inside my E-Skateboard so hopefully they won’t want to try and open it and find it, or hopefully not know that it’s an airtag

I wonder if i buy 4 to save on the cost if there will be a plastic tab separating the battery from the unit so when i do use another, the battery will be relatively fresh. I'll prob end up giving 2 to family but i'm curious ... I'd hate to need one and find the battery dead

Can’t believe I’m considering adding an air tag to my AirPods Pro case. It still amazes me that I can’t track my AirPods location unless they are OUT OF THE CASE. 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

I put an airtag on my iphone and I lost my phone and airtag as well..

Will our iPhone notify us if we forget something behind? For example: you walk out of a store and left your keys inside with Airtag on it, will our iPhone notify us that?

I understood it works very precise with iPhone 11 and 12 - how sensible is it with iPhone 8 or 10?

So if I’m understanding this right, the stalking protocol will effectively mean that if someone steals something you have an airtag attached to, the theif will be alerted to this and thus able to locate and discard the airtag, so it can’t be used to track them or the stolen item??

Quick question on the anti-stalking measures and how they might work against you: say you leave your wallet (or backpack or whatever) on the subway and you get off at your stop, but the person who was next to you is sitting on top of it or whatever. They stay on the subway for a while longer for their stop, but the AirTag starts beeping to let them know that they’ve been getting “followed” by it for a while. If this person isn’t the most upstanding of individuals they would now find your item that they didn’t realize was next to them this whole time and take it before you ever even had a chance to mark it as lost. Is there any way to know who it was that interacted with it last?
