This is an absolute masterpiece, the visuals throughout are absolutely stunning. You've essentially made a lens review into a piece of art and that speaks levels, mate. Well done.

I really hope that some day, a serious film maker will contact you to supervise the photography on a full feature movie. Or that you find the right people to do your own

Have you ever produced a tutorial on your colour grade? I love the images you’ve created in this video!

I’ve found myself watching your reviews and binging just for the sheer joy of it, even if I’m not particularly interested in the product. It’s mesmerising. Your weathered neo-Tokyo blade runner feel is perfect, Can’t wait to see more!

The video is just like always incredible and perfect. The sound design is soo good and you covered everything I want to know about the lens I don’t have to do more research. You’ve got the perfect amount of information.
The visuals and beautifully coloured and the handheld style mixed with tripod shots is very nice.

To sum things up:
Nice video!!!

I can't express how much I look forward to each new video you put out -- even if it's a topic that doesn't relate to my particular interests. Your videos are just so well done and incredibly captivating. You deserve *way* more attention and success. I hope it comes to you.

If only every lens review was this well composed, shot, and edited. I felt like I was watching a short film the entire time rather than a review, .

Yep, I have this lens. It's fantastic. I also have diopters for it for close focusing. I don't think it's an issue not being able to focus to infinity with the diopters since I got them to get closer to the subject. Sure, I can't rack focus to infinity. But, that situation doesn't come up a lot. And with proper planning, I would plan shots around it. It's been a while since I shot with it, but a director I've worked with before really wants to shoot with it on a future project. After watching this video, I'm inspired to shoot some more footage with it. Thanks.

Such a cool looking lens, and the little mods you did really took it to another level. I ended up buying the X-T3, Sirui 50mm and 24mm anamorphic lenses (wish they made a 35mm X-mount!), Tito's 3-d Printed Oval inserts (and gears), as well as the glimmer glass filter & variable ND filter. All in all, it set me back about $1, 800. But I think it's worth it to get some really nice wide angle shots and 4k60p video with the cinematic look of anamorphic -- without spending an arm and a leg. Excited to try it all out when everything gets here! Might eventually get a .7x lens adapter to get even wider (I've heard the widener can make 50mm approximate 35mm, but I'll see how I like the pure 50mm first). Thank you for your awesome videos, they have been very inspiring and helpful!

Having just encountered one of your uploads for the very first time, I am compelled to extend my most enthusiastic congratulations. BRILLIANT, simply BRILLIANT. The reasons are manifold: the exquisite cinematography, the deft editing, the sheer brilliance of creative production, and, as the pièce de résistance, the most extraordinary Patreon plug I have ever witnessed. Hands down, a masterpiece in every regard.

Can you do a tutorial on how to preform the mod step by step / what dimensions for the 3d printer?

I was stressed when I clicked on the video... and your 40 seconds of sample footage took that heaviness from my back... very good shoots you have here.

Been looking forward to your thoughts on this and did not disappoint! Affordable anamorphics are popping up all over the place and would love to hear your thoughts on more if you get the chance! Great Joy’s anamorphics seem especially interesting to me with their 1.8x squeeze factor.

Thank you for the awesome video!
