bro is basically giving you a mini-crash course in film making - it's lean and simultaneously jam packed with technical detail. Wow..

This is a great entry for any filmmaker to watch; it doesn't matter if you're shooting with an OG BMPCC, or a SONY Venice.

I have a Sony camera and I learned more about film making here then other Sony centered YouTube channels. Thanks.

You are such a giant with such simple language. For me, any of your videos is a college. Thank you brother. You excite me, motivate me to want to do it, make me look easy. I have two feature films and now I'm going to send them to the screen.

Just for clarity, the 178.2 degree shutter in EU/AU and other 50Hz areas is applicable only if you're shooting at 24/48fps. If you're shooting at 25/50/100fps, then 180 degrees is the still the correct shutter speed.

I bought a SmallRig cage back when I bought my camera (that I haven't had time to use)...with the shoulder rig, front handles, and top handle, it's such a great little rig. I really need to get out and make something.

You are so right about this camera. Regretted selling mine, but now I own two and they’re keepers.

Really great! We have a pretty similar setup for our BMMCC…one thing I would recommend though is getting the newly released meike 10mm mft instead of the 8 and 12. Obviously splits the difference in terms of focal lengths, but also the 10 is the same speed and 77mm filter thread as the 16, 25, and 35!

Its me again. It be awesome if you did a video explaining EXPORT PROJECT SETTINGS, hopefully in Davinci. Either for youtube settings but also for preserving or projecting feature films for festivals or streaming channels. :)

Great Video, so informative and well delivered! I shot 2 documentarys on BMPCC OG and still learned a few things watching this today, great camera, thanks Will.

I always loved the 16mm look. Will always do. Sort of like going from an omni condenser to a close up dynamic mic. It's like wiping up the bread crumbs from the kitchen table and just keeping that juicy bread loaf on there. Yummy. You have to make sure that loaf is real yummy and well lit, of course! 😂

Black Swan comes to mind. Shot on 16mm with Arriflex 416 and a bunch of Canon DSLRs. Beautiful movie.

Great Video! Not only for the og Pocket but for (m43) filmmaking in general. I will try to apply your points with my next short film in Italy!

Wow what an amazing mini course of filmmaking. I see and hear the love for the OG but I'm hell bent on getting the 6k g2. Hoping most of this info will still apply. Thankyou so much for this video.
